In the history of the world, not since the time of the Predynastic and Ancient Egyptians 
have people been of such diminuitive stature such as all those seen on this page. By the same token, 
though those who came after them tower above the ancients physically, it is their shoulders the 
world rests upon from culinary interests, to care for good hygiene, art, and music, to the very 
religions, forms of education, and values we all hold dear. They say that big surprises come in small 
packages. Never has this been more true in the case of where the civilization so precious to us was a
